When do you need to hire a bathroom plumber?
Generally speaking, any time you can't fix a problem with a plunger or simple turn of a wrench, or when you are unsure what your problem is, you should call a plumber. Let's take a look at some specific examples of when that might occur:
- When the toilet backs up and a plunger doesn't do the job or when it backs up frequently.
- When the lavatory and/or tub drains slowly
- When water leaks from your toilet, shower or other fixture
- When the toilet doesn't flush correctly or flushes slowly or incompletely
- When sewer-like odors occur in your bathroom
- When water mysteriously and repeatedly appears on your bathroom floor and the source of the water is not obvious
- When your lavatory or tub won't hold water
- When water damage occurs to walls, floors, ceilings and cabinetry near or below water and drain pipes
- When pipes are frozen
- When pipes are noisy
- When there's no hot water
- When water pressure to the tub, shower or lavatory is low
